BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford University Athletics department announced today that 2011 football season tickets are on sale now to the general public. To order tickets, Bulldog fans can contact the Ticket Office by phone at (205) 726-DOGS, visit the office in person at the Pete Hanna Center (Ground Level-Athletics Administration Suite), or log on to www.samfordsports.com/tickets 24-hours-a-day to order online.

The 2011 season begins with a blockbuster Southern Conference match-up against 2010 national semifinalist Georgia Southern at Seibert Stadium on September 3rd. Non-conference home games feature Stillman on September 10th and Gardner-Webb on October 1st (Family Weekend). The rest of the Southern Conference schedule features Elon on October 15th, Western Carolina (Homecoming) October 29th, and rival Chattanooga, closing out the home season on November 5th.

After the conclusion of the Southern Conference schedule, the Bulldogs will travel to Auburn, Ala., to take on the defending BCS National Champion Auburn Tigers. The Samford Athletics Ticket Office will only offer the opportunity to purchase tickets for this exciting match-up in Auburn to our season ticket holders, so make sure to secure your seats now.

Our season ticket prices start at $100 with the new Varsity Plan. Included in the Varsity Plan is a reserved seat in Section 101, membership in the Bulldog Club, the right to purchase two Auburn game tickets, and access to pre-game hospitality activities for one of the Bulldogs' six home games. Bulldog Club reserved seats are available in Section 102 for $120 and for the best seats in Seibert Stadium, Bulldog Club VIP Seats are located at the 50 yard line and are available at a price of $150 per seat. Bulldog Club reserved and VIP season tickets require a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Bulldog Club and provide pre-game hospitality, parking, apparel and other amenities for your support.

From now until JULY 15TH, 2011, all VIP and Bulldog Club reserved seats will be discounted to give you the sixth game of 2011 for FREE! VIP Seats will be $120 and Bulldog Club reserved seats will be $100 until July 15th. Renew now to also enter yourself in drawings held each week from July 1st through July 22nd to give away Samford Football prizes to include two Auburn game tickets, an autographed Samford Football Jersey, a Pat Sullivan autographed football and a Samford Football 2011 Parking Pass.
