BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -
The Samford University Athletics Department announced today that 2012 baseball tickets are now on sale to the general public. To order tickets, Bulldog fans can contact the ticket office by phone at (205) 726-DOGS, visit the office in person at the Pete Hanna Center (Ground Level-Athletics Administration Suite) or log on to www.samfordsports.com/tickets, 24-hours-a-day to order single game tickets online.
As we head into the 2012 campaign, Samford baseball brings an exciting slate of games to Joe Lee Griffin Field and the best way to catch every pitch is to purchase season tickets.
To encourage families in Birmingham to visit Joe Lee Griffin Field, the Samford Athletics Ticket Office is offering both an adult and a child's season ticket for the incredibly low price of just $25. That will gain admission for one adult and one child (Ages 3-12) to all 28 home games including non-conference matchups with Southeastern Conference opponents Alabama, Auburn and the preseason No. 1 Florida Gators.
"There was nothing more exciting to me as a kid than taking in a baseball game with my family," said Michael McGreevey, Director of Ticket Sales and Customer Service. "Joe Lee Griffin Field provides an amazing setting for baseball and makes for a great family activity on a spring afternoon, so we hope that Birmingham families can take advantage of this great offer."
All tickets for Samford baseball are general admission and fans can have their choice of sitting in the grandstands or bringing their own lawn chair or blanket to take in the game from grass areas on the baselines.
Single game tickets are also now available for Samford baseball by calling (205) 726-DOGS or visiting Samford Ticket Central online at www.samfordsports.com/tickets and clicking on the BUY BASEBALL TICKETS NOW! link.
