BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford University Athletics held its second-annual Bulldog Club Classic Golf Tournament presented by Nike, Monday morning at the Hoover Country Club.
 
The Bulldog Club Classic is the second of Samford Athletics' annual fundraisers, proceeds from which provide financial support for more than 300 student-athletes who compete in the school's 17 men's and women's NCAA Division I programs. 
 
Over 100 golfers participated in the event. The day began with a breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Lunch was served following the round of golf, and awards were presented during the lunch.
