MARTIN, Tenn. – UT Martin's DaiJia Ruffin made two free throws with four-tenths of a second left to lift the Skyhawk women's basketball team to a 52-50 win over Samford Saturday afternoon at the Elam Center.

Samford head coach
Mike Morris praised his team's defensive effort following the contest.
"UT Martin averages about 70 points a game and we held them to 52 on their court, so we're doing a lot of good things," Morris said. "We're really defending and we're sharing the ball.
