CHARLESTON, S.C.—The 18
th-ranked Samford football team will travel to Charleston, South Carolina to take on seventh-ranked The Citadel Saturday at 1 p.m. (CT) at Johnson Hagood Stadium.

ESPN3 BROADCAST. Fans in the stadium Saturday afternoon can listen to Samford's broadcast by tuning their radios to FM-106.7.
Samford enters the game with a record of 6-2 overall and 4-1 in SoCon play. The Bulldogs are coming off a 56-41 loss at the SEC's Mississippi State last week.
The Citadel is currently 8-0 overall and 6-0 in Southern Conference play. The Citadel is coming off a 45-10 win over ETSU on Saturday.
Samford and The Citadel are meeting for the 10th time, with The Citadel holding a 5-4 advantage in the series. The teams last met on Oct. 17, 2015, with The Citadel defeating Samford by a score of 44-25 in a game played at Seibert Stadium. In the eight meetings since Samford joined the Southern Conference in 2008, the series is tied at 4-4.
