FINAL RESULTS

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The Samford women's golf team finished in a tie for 13^th in the UNF Collegiate played at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club (par 72, 6,003 yards) Monday and Tuesday.

Freshman Anna Buchanan led Samford with a three-round score of 227 (74-77-76), tying her for 21^st out of 93 golfers. Junior Haley Harrington tied for 35^th in the tournament, firing a final score of 230 (82-74-74).

Freshman Emily Uhland finished in a tie for 66^th, with a three-round total of 238 (78-81-79), while sophomore Kate Collom finished 80^th, finishing with a score of 243 (79-83-81). Sophomore Haley Wagner tied for 86^th, tallying a final score of 249 (87-78-84).

Houston won the team title in the 17-team event, firing a three-round score of 878 (293-297-288). Texas came in second at 888 (293-297-298), while Campbell (300-300-300) and College of Charleston (301-296-303) tied for third with identical scores of 900.

Houston's Emily Gilbreth (71-76-70) and Megan Thothong (70-76-71) tied for individual medalist honors at 217. Mary Dawson (74-71-73) of North Florida and Sophia Schubert (72-70-76) of Texas tied for third, individually at 218.

Samford will return to action on March 21 and 22, when the Bulldogs host the Samford Intercollegiate.
