BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's basketball team will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks Sunday at 1 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena.
Samford enters the game with a record of 0-1. The Bulldogs opened the season with a 71-60 loss to Colorado Friday night in the Pete Hanna Center.
In the loss to Colorado, Olivia Crozier led Samford with a career-high 18 points. Hannah Nichols scored 15 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds. Makaila Woolard added 11 points in the loss. Charity Brown dished out a career-high 12 assists for the Bulldogs.
Arkansas enters Sunday's game with a record of 1-0. The Razorbacks opened their season with a 65-54 win over Sam Houston State Friday night.
Malika Monk led Arkansas in the win with 18 points. Devin Cosper added 17 points and 12 rebounds to the winning cause.
