Soccer Advances To SoCon Semifinals With 1-0 Win Over The Citadel

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
The Samford soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament with a 1-0 win over The Citadel in the tournament quarterfinals Saturday night at the Samford Track and Soccer Stadium. Samford improves to 12-5-1 on the season, and the Bulldogs will take on Furman in the tournament semifinals Friday in Macon, Ga. The Citadel ends its season with a record of 9-10.
