Erin Bonner scored two late goals, including one in overtime to lift the Bulldog soccer team to a come-from-behind 2-1 overtime victory over ETSU Friday night at the Samford Track and Soccer Stadium. The win extends Samford's unbeaten streak in SoCon play to 21 matches.
The match was also Samford's Shauna's House game for this season, raising money for transition houses for orphans in the Ukraine. This year, Samford has raised over $14,000 for the project, including $4,000 from Friday night's game alone. In the three years of the project, more than $130,000 has been raised for this cause.
