BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford soccer team netted three first-half goals and then cruised to a 3-0 win over Western Carolina Sunday night at the Samford Track and Soccer Stadium. The win extends Samford's unbeaten streak in SoCon play to 22 matches. Samford improves to 8-5-1 overall and 5-0-1 in SoCon play, while Western Carolina falls to 5-6-2 overall and 2-3 in league games.
The contest was also Samford's Senior Night match. The team's seven seniors:
