BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford volleyball team kept rolling in Southern Conference play with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-21) victory over The Citadel Saturday night at the Pete Hanna Center. With the win, Samford improves to 10-10 overall and 5-1 in SoCon play.

- The first set was tight through most of the way until Samford was able to separate for a 20-16 lead.
- Samford extended its lead to six at 24-18, and the Bulldogs took the 25-19 set victory.
- In the second set, Samford jumped out to an 8-3 lead.
- The Bulldogs pushed their lead out to 18-10.
- The Citadel could not get closer than five points of the rest of the way as Samford picked up the 25-19 set win.
- In the third and final set, Samford jumped out to a 14-11 lead.
- The Citadel fought back to take a 17-15 lead, but a 7-2 run by Samford gave the Bulldogs a 22-19 advantage.
