GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Samford volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-18) win over Furman in the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament Saturday afternoon at Fleming Gymnasium. Second-seeded Samford (18-14) advances to take on the top-seeded ETSU Bucs in Sunday's tournament championship match at 1 p.m. (CT).
 
KEY MOMENTS

• In the first set, Samford jumped out to a 15-10 lead.
• Samford maintained its lead throughout the set, coming away with a 25-21 set win.
• Furman led early in the second set until, with ETSU leading, 10-9, Samford went on a 7-0 run to take a 16-10 lead.
• Samford never looked back in the second set, taking the 25-18 victory.
• In the third set, with Samford trailing, 10-8, the Bulldogs went on a 12-5 run to take a 20-15 lead.
