LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Samford University volleyball team was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament with a 3-0 (18-25, 19-25, 14-25) loss at the 17
th-ranked and No. 11 national seed USC Trojans Friday night at the Galen Center.
Samford ends its season with a record of 19-15. This marked the fourth time in program history Samford qualified for the NCAA Tournament, having previously reached the tournament in 2011, 2014 and 2016. USC improves to 22-10, and the Trojans will take on San Diego in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
