Men's Tennis To Host Wofford For Senior Day Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team will host the Wofford Terriers for Senior Day Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.

Prior to the match seniors Jake Faundez, Justin Ghavami, Austin Heinz, Eduardo Lourido and Luke Orthner will be honored for the final home match of their Samford careers.

Samford comes into the match with a record of 9-10 overall and 2-4 in Southern Conference play. The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-2 win at Chattanooga Wednesday afternoon.

Samford is led this season by Faundez, Ghavami and Lourido. Faundez has a record of 6-10 (6-8 at No. 1, 0-2 at No. 2). Ghavami is currently 8-9 (8-5 at No. 2, 0-4 at No. 1). Lourido enters the weekend with a record of 6-9 (2-1 at No. 2, 4-8 at No. 3).
