MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Samford soccer team picked up its first win of the 2018 season when the Bulldogs earned a 1-0 victory at Alabama State Friday evening. With the win, Samford improves to 1-2 on the season, while Alabama State falls to 0-3.

KEY PLAYS

Samford scored early, netting a goal in the seventh minute and never looked back.
The Bulldogs held Alabama State without a shot, marking the first time a Samford team has accomplished that feat since Nov. 5, 2010 against The Citadel.
