JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Samford women's golf team finished in a tie for 10th at the Jacksonville Classic, played Monday and Tuesday at the Marsh Landing Country Club (par 72, 6,051 yds.).
As a team, Samford finished with a three-round 924 (311-307-306). Nova Southeastern won the event with a final score of 875 (285-299-291).
Individually for Samford, Hallianne Hobson led the way with a final score of 231 (74-78-79), placing her in a tie for 34th in the tournament. Allison Howard tied for 38th with a score of 233 (77-77-79).
