BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's golf team finished in a tie for 10th place in the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate, Monday and Tuesday at Old Overton Club (Par 70, 7,204 yds.).

As a team, Samford tied with Princeton with a three-round score of 897 (296-300-301). BYU and Colorado State tied for first in the event, both shooting 823.

Alec Stopperich led Samford, individually, tying for 27th with a three-round total of 216 (70-73-73). Harlan Winn tied for 40th at 222 (76-73-73), while Wesley Heston finished 50th at 228 (76-76-76).
