BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford volleyball team took on Louisville in the NCAA Tournament and men's basketball picked up a pair of wins to highlight last week's action.
This week, men's basketball will take an exciting trip to Hawaii, and the women's team will return home for a pivotal game.
VOLLEYBALL
The volleyball team traveled to Bowling Green, Ky., to take on the Louisville Cardinals in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday night. The Bulldogs fell in the match, 3-0, concluding one of the most successful seasons in program history.
The Bulldogs finished with a 24-6 overall record, and the team posted a program-record 15-1 mark in Southern Conference play. Samford won both the Southern Conference regular season and tournament titles.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The men's basketball team earned a pair of wins last week. The team defeated Auburn Montgomery, 97-64 in the Pete Hanna Center Tuesday evening. Samford then earned a 113-90 win at Houston Baptist Saturday evening.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The women's basketball team played at cross-town rival UAB Tuesday night, falling in a hard-fought battle, 76-69. The team then played at 15
th-ranked Kentucky, falling by a score of 79-49 Sunday afternoon.
This week, the women's basketball team will return home to play host to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. The game is set for a 2 p.m. start Sunday in the Pete Hanna Center. For a full women's basketball schedule, click on the link below.
