HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Samford men's basketball team dropped a 94-73 decision at Hawaii Sunday evening at the Stan Sheriff Center.

With the loss, Samford falls to 6-6. Hawaii improves to 7-3 with the win.

Samford was led in the game by Josh Sharkey with 21 points and five assists.
Brandon Austin had 15 points for the Bulldogs.
Jalen Dupree scored 13 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
Logan Dye added 10 points for the Bulldogs.
Hawaii was led by Eddie Stansberry with 23 points.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Hawaii scored the first seven points to take an early 7-0 lead with 17:16 to go in the first half after a jumper by Stansberry.
The Rainbow Warriors extended their lead to 13-2 with 15:45 left in the first half after a three-pointer by Justin Webster.
Hawaii led by as many as 19 points in the first half, but Samford fought back to cut the lead to four points at 38-34 and 40-36.
Hawaii finished the half with a 7-0 run to take a 47-36 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The Rainbow Warriors pushed their lead back out to 19 points at 57-38 with 17:34 left in the second half after a three-pointer by Drew Buggs.
Hawaii led by as many as 27 points in the second half, and the Rainbow Warriors finished with the 94-73 win.
