Yount's Hat Trick Leads Soccer To 5-0 Win Over Alabama State

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
Samford freshman forward Taylor Yount scored three goals to lead the Bulldog soccer team to a 5-0 win over Alabama State Friday night at the Samford Track and Soccer Stadium.


With the win, Samford improves to 3-2-2 on the season. Alabama State now has a record of 1-5.

·       Caroline Orman scored the first goal of the match in the 15th minute.

·       Yount scored goals in the 29th, 59th and 86th minutes of the match.

·       Erin Bonner, seeing her first action of the season after missing the first six matches due to injury, scored on a header in the 81st minute.
