AIKEN, S.C. – The Samford University men's golf team placed sixth in the competitive 15-team field at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, firing a final-round 287 (+7) Tuesday morning.

The Bulldogs opened the event with a 295 (+15) – 288 (+8) Monday at the 6,617-yard Palmetto Golf Club track. For the team, it was another solid showing besting foes such as Wofford, Temple and Winthrop along the way.

- Harlan Winn picked up a top-20 finish after posting a final round 70 (E). Winn posted a clean 35 (-1) on his back nine closing with a birdie on the 18th hole. He finished the tournament in a tie for 20th place.
- Connor Reid bounced back from a tough stretch on Monday with a solid round of 70 (E). Reid recorded an eagle on the drivable par-4 15th en route to a 34 (-2) on his back nine.
- Davis Woodliff carded a final round 73 (+3) including a team-high four birdies on Tuesday. Woodliff finished the tournament in a tie for 25th.
- Wesley Heston (74, +4) finshed the event in a tie for 36th, while Alec Stopperich (76, +6) concluded the tournament in a tie for 59th.
