BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Samford goalkeeper
Morgan McAslan was named to the second team of the All-Canadian NCAA team by FTF Canada.
McAslan was named first team All-SoCon following her first season with the Bulldogs. McAslan led the Southern Conference with a 0.87 goals against average, allowing just 19 goals in 22 games played.
Throughout the season, Samford posted 12 shutouts, with eight of those being solo shutouts by McAslan.
The Waterdown, Ontario, native also earned SoCon Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors after allowing just one goal in three tournament games. The Bulldogs swept through the tournament with wins over The Citadel (5-1), Mercer (3-0) and Furman (1-0).
