Bulldog Women’s Tennis Set To Host Round Robin This Weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team will host the second of two Samford Round Robins this weekend at the Samford University Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs will be joined in this weekend's event by Troy, Memphis, UAB and Western Kentucky, with Troy and Memphis playing as a combined team. Action will begin each day, Friday through Sunday, with doubles at 10 a.m., followed by singles. Admission to the tournament is free.
Samford hosted a first Samford Round Robin two weeks ago. Individually in that earlier tournament, Samantha Nanere posted a record of 3-0. Samantha Maras went 2-0, while Rouxanne Janse Van Rensburg, Lindsay Song, Sofia Zaprianov and Ally Hayduk each finished with a record of 2-1.
In doubles, Zaprianov and Olivia Jablonski posted a record of 3-0. Hayduk and Lauren Waddles went 2-0 in doubles.
