Volleyball Drops 3-1 Decision At Mercer

MACON, Ga. –
The Samford volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 20-25, 19-25) decision at Mercer Monday evening at Hawkins Arena.
 
With the loss, Samford falls to 1-1, all in SoCon play. Mercer improves to 2-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.

  • In the first set, Mercer jumped out to an early 4-1 lead.
  • Samford answered with a 7-1 run to take an 8-5 lead on an ace by Deaton.
