BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford volleyball team continued its hot stream with a 3-1 (25-15, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21) win over Wofford Sunday afternoon at the Pete Hanna Center.
With the win, Samford improves to 4-1 on the season, all in Southern Conference play. Wofford falls to 2-1, also all in league play, with the loss.

- In the first set, Samford jumped out to a 9-3 lead on a kill by Farley.
- Samford extended its lead to 12-5.
- The Bulldogs took an 18-10 lead on a kill by Deaton.
- Samford took the first set by a score of 25-14.
- The second set was tight early on, with Wofford taking an 11-10 lead.
- Samford, however, went on a 7-1 run to take a 17-12 lead.
