GREENSBORO, N.C. – Samford junior outside hitter joined the 1,000-kill club in the Bulldogs' sixth-straight victory in a 3-1 (25-22. 25-23, 18-25, 25-14) win at UNCG Monday night at Fleming Gymnasium.
Deaton now has 1,010 kills in her Samford career. The career kills record for Samford is 1,639 by
Michaela Reesor (2011-14). With the win, Samford improves to 7-1 on the season. UNCG falls to 0-8 with the loss.
