Track And Field To Compete At Jaguar Invite

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford track and field team are set to compete at the 2021 Jaguar Invite hosted by South Alabama on Sunday, February 7 at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

The Bulldogs are back in action following a weekend off. Samford has competed in two indoor meets this season, as the Bulldogs look to defend their 2020 Southern Conference men's and women's titles on February 27-28.

BULLDOGS TO WATCH:

Freshman pole vaulter Jed Sisco is having an outstanding rookie campaign posting two first-place finishes with a career best of 5.05m at the Samford Invite January 22. Sisco's efforts earned him the Southern Conference Athlete of the Month recognition for the month of January.

The Samford men's and women's track and field team are defending Southern Conference Indoor Champions.
Samford women's indoor track and field has won five-straight SoCon titles.
On January 22, Michael McMahan posted a program record 48.46 in the 400m Dash topping the previous program record set in 2013.
