BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-23) win over Western Carolina Monday evening in the Pete Hanna Center.
 
With the win, Samford improves to 3-1, all in Southern Conference play. Western Carolina falls to 1-5 overall and 1-3 in league contests.

• Sarah Hayes Farley tallied 12 kills for the Bulldogs.
• Corinne Meglic had 38 assists for Samford.

• Western Carolina was led by Merry Gebel with 12 kills.
