BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. – The Samford men's golf team finished sixth out of 12 teams in the Gulf Coast Collegiate, co-hosted by the University of New Orleans and Nicholls State University on the Pine Course (Par 72, 6,769 yds.) at Diamond Head Country Club.

The teams played two rounds Monday, but Tuesday's third and final round had to be canceled due to inclement weather.
Â
As a team, Samford finished with a two-round score of 608 (292-316). Southeastern Louisiana and UT Martin tied for first, with identical scores of 589.

Individually for Samford, Andrew Sullivan and Brendan Reilly both tied for 15th out of 67 players. Sullivan (72-78) and Reilly (70-80) both finished with two-round scores of 150. Alex Markham tied for 29th with a score of 154 (72-82), while Davis Woodliff shot a 155 (78-77), tying him for 32nd. Harlan Winn tied for 52nd at 162 (81-81).

Samford will play again next week at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, March 8 and 9 in Aiken, S.C.
