GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Samford men's golf team placed 12
th in the Furman Intercollegiate, held Saturday and Sunday at the Furman University Golf Course (Par 71, 7,005 yards).
As a team, Samford finished with a three-round score of 877 (297-288-292), placing 12
th in the 15-team field. Chattanooga won the event with a final score of 838 (288-277-273).
Individually for Samford,
Andrew Sullivan,
Davis Woodliff and Damin Strydom all tied for 36
th in the 84-player field with identical scores of 220.
Craig Sanders tied for 51
st with a score of 222, while
Matthew Madden placed 73
rd at 230.
A list of Samford's players' scores is below. The Bulldogs will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the Grandover Collegiate, Oct. 29-30, in Greensboro, N.C.
