PALM CITY, Fla. – The Samford men's golf team opened its spring season by tying for 15^th at Advance Golf Partners, hosted by UNC Greensboro, Sunday through Tuesday at Hammock Creek Golf Club (Par 72, 7,169 yards).
 
The Bulldogs finished with a three-round score of 912 (296-308-308) to tie with South Dakota for 15^th in the 21-team field. UNCG won the tournament with a final score of 870 (288-292-290).
 
Brian Boles led Samford, tying for 27^th with a three-round score of 222 (71-75-76). Dylan Moncus posted a score of 230 (76-79-75) to finish in a tie for 60^th. Andrew Sullivan tied for 68^th at 232 (75-79-78). Davis Woodliff tied for 75^th with a score of 233 (79-75-79), while Craig Sanders posted a three-round score of 239 (74-80-84) to tie for 104^th.
 
Samford will return to action March 4-5 at the Sea Palms Intercollegiate, hosted by Western Carolina, at St. Simons Island, Ga.
