Women’s Golf Wraps Up Play At Chattanooga Classic

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Samford women's golf team placed 18th at the Chattanooga Classic, held Sunday through Tuesday at the Council Fire Golf Club (Par 72, 6,234 yards).
As a team, Samford fired a three-round score of 935 (319-308-308) to place 18th in the 20-team field. UT-San Antonio won the event with a final tally of 869 (297-279-293).
Individually for Samford, Bailey Dunstan tied for 31st with a three-round total of 223 (74-76-73). Sophie Membrino tied for 76th at 236 (78-75-83), while Mary Kate Horton tied for 95th with a final score of 241 (86-80-75). Kelley Topiwala also tied for 95th at 241 (81-77-73), while Christian Williams tied for 98th with a score of 243 (86-80-77).
Samford will play in the Jan Weaver Invitational, hosted by Murray State, April 8-9.
