SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Samford men's golf team played its final pre-conference tournament, finishing 16
th in the Wofford Invitational, Monday and Tuesday at the Country Club of Spartanburg (Par 72, 6,712 yards).
As a team, Samford posted a three-round score of 897 (297-299-301), placing 16
th in the 18-team field. The host team Wofford (282-289-278) and UNC Wilmington (282-275-292) tied for the tournament win with identical scores of 849.
Individually for Samford,
Brian Boles led the way with a three-round score of 215 (76-71-68), tying for 11
th in the 96-player field.
Davis Woodliff tied for 56
th with a final score of 223 (74-74-75).
Andrew Sullivan tied for 70
th at 227 (75-77-75).
Craig Sanders tied for 85
th with a score of 235 (72-79-84), while
Dylan Moncus came in 91
st at 239 (79-77-83).
Samford will compete in the Southern Conference Championship, April 22-24, in Greensboro, Ga.
