BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's track and field team earned 2022 Division I All-Academic Team status, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Wednesday.
In addition to the team award,
Morayo Bhadmos,
Brittany Bishop and
Erin Long claimed All-Academic individual honors on the women's side. For the men, All-American
Ashton Domingue,
Benjamin Garner,
Ty Kimberlin,
Michael McMahan,
Jed Sisco,
Justin Stuckey and
Seth Wolfe were named All-Academic individuals.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better. The cumulative GPAs of all student athletes on the NCAA's squad list must be included. The Bulldog women's team posted a 3.17.
