GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Samford men's golf team placed 14th in the Craft Farms Intercollegiate, hosted by South Alabama, Sunday and Monday at Craft Farms Golf Club and the Cotton Creek Golf Course (Par 72, 7,127 yards).
The teams played two rounds Sunday and one round Monday. Samford finished with a three-round score of 918 (297-316-305) to place 14th. Texas State won the event at 861 (285-286-290).
Individually for Samford, Brian Boles tied for 30th in the 75-player field with a three-round score of 222 (75-74-73). Davis Woodliff tied for 46th with a total score of 226 (71-78-77), while Matthew Madden tied for 63rd at 234 (75-82-77). Andrew Sullivan came in 70th at 239 (79-82-78) and Matthew Smith finished 72nd at 245 (76-86-83).
Samford will next compete in the Wofford Invitational, April 3-4 in Spartanburg, S.C.
