GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Samford men's golf team placed 14
th in the Craft Farms Intercollegiate, hosted by South Alabama, Sunday and Monday at Craft Farms Golf Club and the Cotton Creek Golf Course (Par 72, 7,127 yards).
The teams played two rounds Sunday and one round Monday. Samford finished with a three-round score of 918 (297-316-305) to place 14
th. Texas State won the event at 861 (285-286-290).
Individually for Samford,
Brian Boles tied for 30
th in the 75-player field with a three-round score of 222 (75-74-73).
Davis Woodliff tied for 46
th with a total score of 226 (71-78-77), while
Matthew Madden tied for 63
rd at 234 (75-82-77).
Andrew Sullivan came in 70
th at 239 (79-82-78) and
Matthew Smith finished 72
nd at 245 (76-86-83).
Samford will next compete in the Wofford Invitational, April 3-4 in Spartanburg, S.C.
