BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford University soccer team battled the Ole Miss Rebels to a 0-0 draw Thursday evening at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.ecision, Samford's record moved to 2-1-2 on the year. Ole Miss is now 2-1-1.

Zoe Clevely, who was named the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week last week, played the full 90 minutes in goal, saving three shots to keep the Rebels off the scoreboard.
As a team, Samford outshot Ole Miss, 12-6, with both teams having four shots on goal.
Kyla Reynolds led Samford with five shots, with two coming on goal.
For Ole Miss, goalkeeper Shu Ohba saved five shots. Grace Freeman and Aubrey Mister had two shots each to lead the Rebels.
Samford will return home to play host to the fifth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide Sunday at 5 p.m. at Shauna Yelton Field. Admission to the game is FREE.
