FINAL FULL RESULTS (PDF)
JACKSON, Tenn. – The Samford men's golf team placed ninth at the Grover Page Classic, hosted by UT Martin, Monday and Tuesday at the Jackson Country Club (Par 72, 6,849 yards).
The Bulldogs shot a three-round team total of 869 (290-289-290). UT Martin won the event with a score of 841 (274-283-284).
Samford was led by
Matthew Smith with a three-round score of 215 (71-73-71), tying for 19
th in the 93-player field.
Davis Woodliff tied for 29
th at 218 (75-71-72), while
Taylor Kuehn tied for 35
th with a score of 219 (73-72-74).
Andrew Sullivan tied for 41
st at 221 (73-75-73), while
Brian Boles fired a three-round total of 227 (73-73-81), to tie for 71
st in the event.
Damin Strydom, playing as an individual, placed 12
th in the tournament. Strydom finished with a final score of four-under-par 212 (71-71-70).
Samford will next play in the Graeme McDowell Invitational, Sept. 24-26, in Oneonta, Ala.
