Bulldog Women Place Eighth At Live In Lou Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Samford men's and women's cross-country teams competed in the Live in Lou Classic Saturday morning.

The women's team placed eighth out of 36 teams. Individually for the women's squad, Adeline Haisch placed 41^st out of 325 runners with a time of 17:51.4 on the 5K course. Katie Keller ran the race in 17:59.3, placing 55^th, while Sinkenesh Parker came in 63^rd with a time of 18:03.1. Harper McGowan placed 65^th, running the race in 18:04.4, while Gabbie Hoots came in 99^th at 18:21.5.

The men's team came in 34^th in its race. The men were led by Andrew McGinnis with a time of 25:00.0, placing 101^st out of 380 runners in the 8K race. William Jordan placed 164^th with a time of 25:26.6.

Samford will next compete in the Crimson Classic, on Oct. 13, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
