LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Samford men's and women's cross-country teams competed in the Live in Lou Classic Saturday morning.
The women's team placed eighth out of 36 teams. Individually for the women's squad,
Adeline Haisch placed 41
st out of 325 runners with a time of 17:51.4 on the 5K course.
Katie Keller ran the race in 17:59.3, placing 55
th, while
Sinkenesh Parker came in 63
rd with a time of 18:03.1.
Harper McGowan placed 65
th, running the race in 18:04.4, while
Gabbie Hoots came in 99
th at 18:21.5.
The men's team came in 34
th in its race. The men were led by
Andrew McGinnis with a time of 25:00.0, placing 101
st out of 380 runners in the 8K race.
William Jordan placed 164
th with a time of 25:26.6.
Samford will next compete in the Crimson Classic, on Oct. 13, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
