Men’s Golf Wraps Up Play At Palmas del Mar Collegiate

HUMACAO, P.R. – The Samford men's golf team placed 15th at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate, hosted by UNC Greensboro, Sunday through Tuesday at the Palmas del Mar Golf Club (Par 72, 7,122 yards).
As a team, Samford finished with a three-round team score of 890 (304-296-290), placing 15th in the 16-team field. Arkansas won the tournament with a final score of 837 (281-276-280).
Individually for Samford, Taylor Kuehn tied for 48th in the 99-player field, finishing with a three-round total of 219 (78-71-70). Matthew Smith tied for 63rd at 221 (75-75-71), while Andrew Sullivan tied for 83rd at 227 (72-81-74). Davis Woodliff finished in a tie for 87th with a score of 229 (79-75-75), while Damin Strydom placed 92nd at 232 (81-75-76).
Samford will next play in the Wexford Intercollegiate, Feb. 19-20, at Hilton Head, S.C.
