HERMITAGE, Tenn. – The Samford men's golf team sits in a tie for third place after the first two rounds of the Big Blue Intercollegiate Monday at Hermitage Golf Club.
As a team, Samford sits at even par 568 (281-287) after the first two rounds, just one stroke out of first place. The Bulldogs are tied with Belmont and SIU Edwardsville for third place in the 13-team field. Missouri State sits in first place with a team score of 567 (281-286).
Individually for Samford,
Matthew Smith is tied for 15
th in the 86-player field with a two-round score of 142 (70-72).
Davis Woodliff (68-85—143) and
Taylor Kuehn (73-70—143) are both tied for 18
th.
Andrew Sullivan is tied for 25
th at 145 (75-70), while
Damin Strydom is also tied for 25
th with an identical score of 145 (70-75).
Playing as individuals for Samford, with their score not counting toward the team total, are

rd, 74-73—147),
Brian Boles (T-45
th, 77-73—150) and
Craig Sanders (T-54
th, 76-76—152).
The teams will conclude the tournament with a third and final round Tuesday morning. Tee times are set for 8 a.m.
