SEMMES, Ala. – The Samford men's golf team finished eighth at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, held Sunday through Tuesday at Magnolia Grove.
 
As a team, Samford finished with a three-round score of 877 (297-287-293) to finish eighth in the 13-team tournament. The host, South Alabama, won the tournament with a final score of 831 (276-283-272).
 
Samford was led individually by Garrison Guthrie, tying for 30^th in the 78-player field with a three-round total of 218 (76-70-72).

Next up, Samford will compete in the Memphis Intercollegiate, March 31-April 1.
