SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Three members of the Samford women's tennis team earned postseason honors when the Southern Conference released its postseason teams Wednesday afternoon.
 
Sara Erenda and Emily Surcey were named first team All-SoCon in doubles. Additionally, Eleni Liakonis was named to the SoCon's All-Freshman team.
 
Erenda and Surcey posted an overall record of 5-4 at No. 1 doubles. In conference play, the duo posted a record of 4-1.
 
Liakonis posted a record of 11-7 in singles. She spent most of her time at the No. 3 position, where she was 5-5. She also played at the No. 1 (1-0), No. 2 (1-1), No. 4 (3-1) and No. 5 (1-0).
 
Samford will open the Southern Conference Tournament by taking on ETSU Thursday at 2 p.m. (CT) in Chattanooga, Tenn.
