MOBILE, Ala.-The Samford men's tennis team earned a dominating 4-0 sweep on the road over South Alabama Friday evening.

The Bulldogs, now 11-5 on the year, took control early by claiming the doubles point and rode that momentum through a trio of impressive singles wins.

Doubles play set the tone for the day. Sandeep Mohandoss and Darcy Nicholls delivered a 6-3 victory, while the pairing of Lukas Dvorak and Cooper Errey clinched the opening point with a 6-4 win. The Bulldogs led the unfinished doubles match when play was halted after the point was secured.

In singles, Lukas Dvorak blanked his opponent 6-0, 6-4. Sebastian Harrison followed with a strong win, taking a tight tiebreak in the opening set before powering to a 7-6 (7), 6-0 decision. The clincher came from Darcy Nicholls, who rallied after dropping the first set to post a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 victory and secure the team sweep. Three matches were left unfinished after the outcome was decided.

Samford continues its Southern Conference slate on Friday, March 27 at Chattanooga. First serve is set for 12 p.m. in Chattanooga, Tenn.
