Nicastro Named SoCon Golfer Of The Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford junior Gabi Nicastro was named the Southern Conference Golfer of the Week when the league released its weekly women's golf awards Wednesday afternoon.
Nicastro took first place at the ULM Invitational with an impressive 13-under-par 203 (74-67-62). She shot a school-record 62 in Tuesday's final round, breaking the previous record of 65, set by Bailey Dunstain in 2024.
Next up, Samford will compete in the GolfWeek /Stifel Spring Challenge, April 6-8.
