2013 OUTDOOR SOCON CHAMPION - 400-METER HURDLES

2014 (Redshirt Junior): Indoor: Competed in four meets…recorded a season best 1:00.08 in the 400 meters at the Auburn Indoor Invitational on January 18…tallied a personal best in the pentathlon with a score of 3,330 points at the Samford Multi & Invitational on February 7…Outdoor: Competed in six meets…recorded a season best time of 1:00.31 in the 400 meter hurdles at the SoCon Outdoor Championships on April 26.

2013 (Junior): Indoor: Competed in three meets … set new personal bests in the 400-meter dash (59.00) and 800 meters (2:18.54) … her 400-meter dash time of 59.00 ranks ninth all-time at Samford … ran second leg on the third-place distance medley relay at the SoCon Championships, finishing in 12:05.20.  Outdoor: Competed in eight meets … won a SoCon Championship in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing first in the prelims (1:01.27) and the finals (1:01.96) … set a new school record in the 400-meter hurdles at the Samford Open, winning the event in 1:00.28 … ran a personal-best 57.97 in the 400-meter dash at the Raleigh Relays, which ranks 10th all-time at Samford … ran lead leg on the fifth-place 1,600-meter relay team at the SoCon Championships, finishing in 3:52.14, which ranks third all-time at Samford.

2012 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in three meets … set a personal-best in the 400-meter dash at the Auburn Invitational (59.37).  Outdoor: Redshirted.

2011 (Freshman) Indoor: Competed in only one meet, running the 400-meter dash at the Blue Raider Invite (1:06.40). Outdoor: Competed in five meets ... ran a personal-best 1:02.84 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Tiger Track Classic, finishing 10th ... finished just short of qualifying for the 400-meter hurdles finals at the SoCon Championships, placing ninth in the prelims (1:04.46).

High School: Prepped at Abeline's Cooper High School under the direction of Pat Fulgim...holds personal bests of 15.02 in the 100-meter hurdles and 44.92 in the 300-meter hurdles.

Personal: Born March 5, 1992...daughter of Dylan and Nicole Howard...father, Dylan, played basketball at UAB...major is undecided.
