Biography
2012 (sophomore): Earned playing time in all 20 of the Bulldogs’ matches and started in six contests . . . finished the season with four goals . . . tallied key assists against Kentucky (Sept. 9) and The Citadel (Oct. 12) . . . ranked fourth on the team in goals (4), tied for fourth on the squad in assists (2) and ranked fifth in points (10) . . . played a key role in Samford’s offensive attack that finished the season ranked second in the Southern Conference in both goals (32) and points (90) . . . scored the Bulldogs’ game-winning goal in a key 2-0 SoCon victory at Davidson (Sept. 23) . . . logged 777 minutes of playing time and rattled off 23 shot attempts, which was ranked fifth on the team . . . scored a goal and played a season-high 78 minutes at Georgia Southern (Sept. 21) . . . also excelled in the classroom and finished the year with a 3.27 grade-point average in nursing . . . earned her second varsity letter.

2011 (freshman): Earned playing time in 16 of the Bulldogs’ 22 matches as a true freshman . . . started in contests against Vanderbilt (Sept. 18), Wofford (Oct. 6) and No. 6-ranked Florida State in the 2011 NCAA Tournament (Nov. 11) . . . member of Samford’s stingy defensive unit which finished the year ranked first in the SoCon in fewest goals allowed (0.86), goals-against average (0.82) and shutouts (9) . . . logged a total of 758 minutes of playing time throughout the season and notched a career-high total of 81 minutes played against Vanderbilt on Sept. 18 . . . earned her first varsity letter.
High School: A two-sport athlete at Zionsville Community High School where she was an all-state performer in both soccer and tennis . . . was the 2010 recipient of the prestigious National Soccer Coaches Association of America Senior Excellence Award . . . earned all-state honors in soccer in 2008, 2009 and 2010, while she was also named her high school’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2009 . . . member of the Olympic Developmental Program squad from 2006-09 and earned the 2010 Leadership Award.
Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1992 . . . parents are Tami and Mitch Hansen . . . father played football at the University of Wyoming . . . mother played volleyball and ran track at the University of Nebraska . . . older sister, Danielle, played tennis at Lipscomb University . . . younger sister, Alissa, is a sophomore defender on the Samford soccer team . . . majoring in nursing.
