2013 (junior): Earned playing time 15 of the team’s 21 matches before her season was unfortunately cut short due to injury . . . started in matches against UTSA (Sept. 8), Appalachian State (Oct. 13) and The Citadel (Oct. 18) . . . concluded the year with seven goals and two assists, despite only playing a total of 651 minutes . . . ranked second on the team in goals and third in points (16) . . . accumulated a brilliant 31.8-percent shot average, which featured seven goals on only 22 shot attempts . . . finished the season tied for second place in the Southern Conference with four game-winning goals . . . ranked third in the conference with an average of 0.53 goals per match . . . ranked fourth in the league in points per game with 1.2 . . . ranked fifth in the SoCon with seven goals scored . . . in conference play alone, she was ranked second in the league in game-winning goals (2), points per game (1.57) and goals per game (0.71), as well as fourth in the SoCon in goals (5) and seventh in points (11) . . . scored a pair of goals against Kennesaw State on Sept. 17, to lead the Bulldogs to a key 3-0 road triumph . . . scored a pair of goals at home versus Davidson on Sept. 29, as she captained Samford to a dominant 3-0 SoCon victory . . . scored a key goal and added an assist in the Bulldogs’ 2-1 SoCon win over Appalachian State on Oct. 13 . . . logged a season-high 67 minutes of game action at UTSA on Sept. 8 . . . earned her third varsity letter.

2012 (sophomore): Earned playing time in all 20 matches and started in key contests against Kentucky (Sept. 9), Western Carolina (Oct. 5) and The Citadel (Oct. 12) . . . scored three goals on the season and added an assist versus Elon (Oct. 21) . . . finished the year tied for fifth place on the team in goals scored (3) and sixth in points (7) . . . played a key role in Samford’s offensive attack that ranked second in the SoCon in both goals (32) and points (90) . . . a total of 13 of her 22 shot attempts proved to be on goal for a stellar .591 shots-on-goal percentage . . . scored goals against Kennesaw State (Sept. 14), Jacksonville State (Sept. 16) and Western Carolina (Oct. 5) . . . logged a season-high 63 minutes of playing time in the Bulldogs’ demonstrative 3-0 SoCon victory over Chattanooga (Oct. 24) . . . also excelled in the classroom and finished the year with a 3.10 grade-point average in pre-business . . . earned her second varsity letter.
 
2011 (freshman): Scored the first goal of her collegiate career on Aug. 19, as she tallied the game-winning score in the Bulldogs’ 2-0 season-opening victory against Belmont in the inaugural match held at the brand-new Samford Track and Soccer Stadium . . . earned playing time in all 22 contests of the season and finished the campaign with three goals, an assist and seven points . . . started in four matches throughout the season in matches against UAB (Aug. 26), Memphis (Aug. 28), Kennesaw State (Sept. 2) and Elon (Sept. 24) . . . in addition to her game-winning goal against Belmont, she also tallied goals against Wofford (Oct. 6) and Western Carolina (Oct. 30) . . . earned her first varsity letter.
 
High School: Finished her prep career as a league-leading goal-scorer at Lassiter High School . . . during her first two seasons at LHS, she compiled 30 goals and finished each year as the team’s second leading scorer . . . while competing for the NASA 11 Elite, she led the team in scoring and piloted her squad to the championship title of the 2009 Georgia State Cup . . . proved to be a varsity starter as a freshman and helped lead her team to a 12-4-1 record . . . also helped guide her high school to the second round of the Georgia State playoffs . . . a three-sport athlete at LHS, Abbott also lettered in both diving and gymnastics.
 
Personal: Born Aug. 27, 1992 . . . daughter of Randy Abbott and Stacey Anderson . . . her father played baseball at both Georgia Southwestern College and Lagrange College . . . her grandfather, Samuel H. Buttrill, played baseball at Southern Tech University and played in the minor leagues with the Georgia Crackers . . . her uncle, Adam Willis, played basketball at Berry College . . . majoring in finance and pre-dentistry.
