A talented, left-handed pitcher who has battled injuries throughout his career . . . will provide the coaches a left-handed option out of the bullpen.

2012 (Junior): Saw action in six games, all out of the bullpen . . . finished with a 15.43 ERA in 2.1 innings of work . . . pitched an inning of scoreless relief against Alabama A&M . . . also saw action against Troy, Elon, Alabama and Florida.

2011 (Sophomore): Appeared in two games out of the bullpen . . . tossed 1.2 innings without allowing a hit . . . struck out two batters . . . pitched 1.0 inning against Alabama A&M and 0.2 innings against UAB.

2010 (Freshman): Missed most of the season due to injury . . . pitched 3.2 innings, posting an ERA of 9.82 and a record of 0-1.

High School: Prepped at South Gwinnett High School . . . named team’s Pitcher of the Year in 2007, 2008 and 2009 . . . named preseason first-team All-State . . . was a four-year varsity letterwinner.

Personal: Born Oct. 12, 1990 . . . son of Mark and Mary Jane Handlan . . . majoring in entrepreneurship and management.
